Seal, a self-proclaimed proponent of the MeToo movement, is now facing some scrutiny of his own. One of his former neighbors, Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter actress Tracey Birdsall, claims that he once groped her and made unwanted advances.
The incident reportedly occurred in late 2016 in Seal’s Los Angeles home, and the artist is currently being investigated for sexual battery. Seal has denied any wrongdoing.
Birdsall, 54, stated that she was encouraged to tell her story after Seal went public with his support for the movement and criticism of Hollywood.
When accepting the Cecile B. De Mille Award at the Golden Globes one week ago, Oprah Winfrey gave an inspiring speech about the MeToo movement and women who have suffered sexual abuses of any kind.

Surprisingly, Oprah’s words drew some unexpected negative responses — for example, from musician Seal. The British singer shared on his Instagram a photo of Winfrey posing together with disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein.
With the picture, he added the hint that the actual problem is thought by everyone to be the solution. Seal’s post instantly drew a lot of negative remarks against him, with one being from Chrissy Teigen.
As a result, Seal shared a video clip on social media, looking directly into the camera, claiming that the target of his initial criticism was not Oprah, but the industry in general. According to him, Hollywood’s behavior is filled with double-standards and hypocrisy.
He also tried to express the enormous amount of respect he had for everything that Oprah has achieved in her life and the many contributions she had given to the world throughout her career.
Furthermore, Seal also slammed on Stacey Dash in the video, because the current Fox News commentator was one of the people commenting and embracing Seal’s original post.
Seal does not forget to mention that the real villain in the situation is nobody else but Weinstein himself.
The British-born musician came to fame for his hit songs at the beginning of the 1990s and his marriage with supermodel Heidi Klum. He is mostly known for the international hit “Kiss from a Rose” that appeared on the soundtrack to one of the Batman movies.
