While La La Anthony has been quite active on the social front herself, it looks like she has some reservations about her own son, Kiyan Anthony, and his social life.
According to a new interview, the boy, who is currently 12, has started to explore the world of dating and has been showing an active interest in having his own relationship.
And while most parents would not only be okay with something like that but would be happy to hear it too, it looks like La La’s thoughts are in a bit of a different direction — the truth is that she is freaking out.
According to La La herself, the thought of her son dating has been terrifying to her, and she has been trying not to think about it too much.
At the same time, she has made it clear that she would be keeping a close eye on him, and was going to do everything in her power to ensure that the boy goes in the right direction with regards to his romantic life.
The Power actress said: “I’m terrified [of his teenage years].I’m completely terrified [of] girls. He’s starting to like girls, and … that scares me.He tells her about his friends,I’m keeping a close eye on him.”
She added this: “He’s, like, past me trying to pick out clothes for him now. I’m like, ‘You should wear this,’ [but] he knows exactly how he wants to dress. He loves sweatsuits, and he loves [activewear]. He’s very particular about his sneakers. He has his own style, for sure.”
Carmelo Anthony‘s estranged wife also opened up about having another child.
La La confessed it would not happen and added: “I’m done. My son has fulfilled me in every single possible way, so I think I’m done, yes. [Motherhood] changed my life. My son is my best friend. I live for my son.”
Some fans say it is strange to see the media personality panicking because most moms understand the importance of something like this on the young mind of her boy, so hopefully, she will loosen up in the coming weeks/months.
