Meghan Markle’s Lace Dress From Queen Elizabeth’s Christmas Lunch Sold Out In Hours

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Christmas

Meghan Markle appeared at Queen Elizabeth’s traditional Christmas lunch wearing a dress from the brand Self Portrait.

A photo of the royal fiancée, which revealed her only from above the shoulders, circulated on the Web only for a few hours before the outfit sold out.

The event was quite important for the American actress as she met with some members of the extended royal family for the very first time.

The outfit chosen by the bride-to-be was perfect for the occasion with its modest style and was quite fitting for a future duchess.

Markle wore a black and white mini dress for the festive lunch that featured pink and white details, as well as a black skirt. The little number comes in classic and mini versions, but both are currently sold out.

Fortunately for the fans of the stunning activist’s fashion taste, there are plenty of similar dresses available on the market.

Examples are the Payne Cutout Mini Dress and Hudson Mini Dress from Self Portrait, as well as pieces from Rebecca Taylor and Elie Tahari.

This is not the first time when an outfit worn by Markle was immediately sold out afterward.

When announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, she wore a coat from the Canadian brand Line the Label.

Not long after, the website of the company crashed. This is just the beginning too — we are yet to see her wedding dress.

Kate Middleton has also worn Self Portrait at other occasions in the past — for the premiere of the film A Street Cat Named Bob in November last year, she chose a white lace dress from the brand.

The Suits star is bringing a fresh perspective and dynamism to the British royal family.

If Prince William and Duchess Kate were able to take things into the modern era — Markle and Prince Harry are perfect for the social media generation.
