All signs keep pointing towards a less and less pretty picture concerning the relationship between Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers.
New reports have been coming out at a steady pace, and none of the recent ones have been positive in any significant way.
Even though Lonzo was initially interested in joining the Lakers and starting a strong career with them, those dreams seem to be quickly but steadily fading away as various circumstances around him appear to be coming together to make that prospect an even less likely one.
The Lakers seem to be under the impression that Ball has been spreading information around inappropriately, according to everything we have seen so far.
It did not take them long to take Rajon Rondo on board, although it is not entirely clear if they are happy with their decision so far or not.
Moreover, while the Lakers have been sending ominous messages towards Ball, he does not seem all that fazed with the situation.
It is not unlikely that we may see even more responses from the famous team towards the player, but the official communication between them has so far been relatively low-key.
Ball’s father, LaVar, does not seem to have lost hope either, insistent that all of his sons will end up playing for the Lakers sooner or later.
However, some have pointed out that chances do not look too good for the trio of basketball players, as so far LiAngelo has been performing quite poorly in his attempts to get into the G League; not for lack of trying though.
The young NBA star seems to be motivated by the idea of playing with LeBron James, the new star recruit of the franchise. However, it is unclear if the presence of Rondo will not complicate his plans.
So far, Ball has been trying to act cool on social media.
