There has been some back and forth between Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé recently, with the latter reportedly making some unflattering remarks about the former’s style and appearance.
And now, shortly after Mrs. Kardashian-West released a new nude photo shoot with a glitter theme, some have pointed out the striking similarity between that photo session and one that Beyoncé did four years ago.
Looking closely at the pictures, there do seem to be lots of stylistic similarities.
It is not just the glitter, but the overall setup and arrangements of the shots. At the same time, it is hard to tell if there was actually any copying going on, and if so, whether it was intentionally targeted at Beyoncé.
To be fair, that photographic style is not precisely the most original concept out there, and it would not be surprising if more similar photo shoots surfaced, just not ones that feature stars as prominent as Beyoncé or Kim Kardashian.
With that in mind, it could be sheer coincidence that Kardashian appeared in a set that bears so many similarities, and the whole thing could have been entirely unintentional from her side.
Still, that does not seem helpful in calming down the tension between the two celebrities, as they seem to be on edge with regards to each other lately.
Whether or not things will quiet down or if they will get even more aggressive in their jabs remains to be seen, but it does not seem like their fans mind the entertainment at least.
So far, Kardashian has yet to respond to the accusations about her photo shoot.
Moreover, many do not expect to say anything because the controversy is probably good for her bottom line.
It is a business model to get some people worked up over things that may seem insignificant to others.
