Joe Kennedy III’s ‘Drooling’ Overshadows His SOTU Response And 2020 Aspirations

Joe Kennedy III Donald Trump SOTU Response

The Massachusetts Democrat Joe Kennedy III addressed many of the problems America has been facing under Trump’s administration.

The grandson of Robert F. Kennedy delivered the official Democratic response to the State of the Union on Tuesday night and put the blame on the 45th U.S. president for many of the problems that the country is dealing with currently.

The presentation took place at an autoshop school in Fall River, Massachusetts. Through Kennedy’s speech, the Democratic Party presented its vision for a raise in the minimum wage, paid family leave, and improvements in healthcare.

The 37-year-old politician accused the president of dividing the country, something which is against the American Dream of equality and fair rights for everyone.

According to him, the current administration tended to choose to help one group of people over others, whereas the right thing to do in one of the most developed countries in the world would be to leave no man behind.

Kennedy also tried to win the hearts of the Latino part of the audience by speaking in Spanish. He did this when he tackled the subject of the illegal immigrants brought to America at a very young age and also called “Dreamers.”

However, despite Kennedy’s appealing words, it was his mouth that attracted most of the attention of the viewers. It appeared that the rising star on the left went overboard with the chapstick, as his lips were shining throughout the event.

As a result, most of the comments on social media were about the politician’s wet lips instead of his message. Kennedy’s speech prompted the rise of many jokes about him on the Internet, with many people sharing fun posts about the liquid on the politician’s face.

The public servant, who is rumored to be focusing on a potential presidential run in 2020, decided to take his message to the media on Wednesday by conducting several interviews.
