Rosario Dawson Comments On Relationship With Cory Booker — Is She Endorsing Him Like Bernie Sanders In 2016?

Rosario Dawson Cory Booker Relationship

Rosario Dawson has recently been going out with a politician — Cory Booker — and some of her fans have been commenting on her role in TV anthology series Briarpatch, where she is also involved with someone in politics.

Booker is one of the candidates in the 2020 US Presidential elections, and the situation between him and Dawson has generated a lot of publicity on both sides, for obvious reasons.

Dawson recently took the opportunity to discuss her relationship, claiming that she has found it very interesting to talk to Booker on a daily basis, especially with regards to his work, as this has allowed her to draw parallels to her own role.

She also joked about the way things worked between her and Booker, and went on to compare him to Captain America.

The actress said: “It’s been really interesting just you know talking to him and talking to his staff about you know the premiere here, and going so… he’s a senator, he’s got his eyes on the presidency, and he’s someone I work with, and we’re having an affair — otherwise, there are no similarities whatsoever,”

She added: “He’s hoping to make the Zombieland premiere, but I’m curious to see, if he doesn’t, if he’s going to get the same amount of press being like ‘why aren’t you supporting your women, I’ve been getting all this press like ‘Why aren’t you at your man’s side’ when I’ve made it really clear that it’s okay to be a working mom. I feel like I’m dating Captain America, I mean he’s just such an amazing, brilliant, kind, empathetic, beautiful, loving human being.”

Some of her comments were also focused on the attitude she has had to deal with in the entertainment industry, as some of her colleagues have apparently been critical of the way she has been handling herself in public, claiming that she should be more supportive of her partner.

Dawson confirmed that she had expected comments of this nature when she got into this relationship in the first place.

One person had this to say: “I know y’all about to get on me. But … I don’t like him. I would definitely like to see more of him but president… Nah. And I don’t like how now Hollywood and politicians are becoming one.”

Another commenter wrote: “Lmao!!! Capt America can not look in two different directions at the same time!!!”

This voter joked: “Thank you for your service, Rosario! I like Cory, and I would hate his truth to keep him from occupying a high ranking office position👌🏾.”

Although Dawson supports Booker, she does not plan to get involved in the campaign this year, unlike 2016 when she campaigned hard for Bernie Sanders.
