Former ‘TODAY’ Co-Hosts Tamron Hall And Billy Bush Are Eyeing Big TV Comebacks

It might be the year of the big comebacks for it is being reported that former NBC anchors — Tamron Hall and Billy Bush — are pitching ideas to multiple networks.

Television experts believe that Hall is more likely to get back on the little screen compared to Mr. Bush who was embroiled in a strange scandal with Donald Trump.

Hall, a beloved reporter from Texas, used to team up with veteran anchor Al Roker to host the third hour of TODAY.

In early 2017, Hall and Roker were demoted for the arrival of Megyn Kelly.

A reliable source close to Hall said she exited the Peacock Network because she had no intention to settle.

As for Bush, he was dumped by NBC during the 2016 presidential election.

Bush was caught on video in 2005 having what many described as a sexist and misogynist conversation with Trump.

The New York billionaire was doing an interview with Access Hollywood when he mocked actress Arianne Zucker and said the infamous words, “I can grab them by the pu$$y.”

Bush was fired for the part he played in the scandal while Trump dismissed the lewd remark as “locker room banter” and was elected the 45th president of the United States.

In the summer of 2017, Hall had aligned herself with Harvey Weinstein for a new talk show that was set to launch in early 2018.

However, Hall has been forced to separate herself from Weinstein after dozens of women accused him of being a predator who sexually harassed them using his status as a powerful executive in Hollywood.

According to a source close to Hall, who spoke to US Weekly, the show is still a go.

The person shared: “Tamron and her team have been pitching a talk show for her. They think it could be big.”

The former TODAY show co-chair also confirmed her plans in a video she shared on New Year’s Eve while vacationing in Colombia.

Fans of the TV personality and activist are eager to see her hosting her daytime talk show and if possible go up against Kelly.

As for Bush, like Matt Lauer, he is having a tough time convincing TV producers in the #MeToo and Time’s Up era.
