As Hollywood is being shattered by recent scandals of sexual misconduct, more and more women seem to be opening up about past cases of harassment in their lives.

Salma Hayek is one of the newest examples of women, who complained of the disgraced movie mogul, Harvey Weinstein.

Two months before Hayek’s accusations, a group of women claimed that they had been suffering from Weinstein’s abusive behavior and sexual harassment.

To this date, the number of his accusers is around 70 women, including names like actress Ashley Judd.

According to Hayek, she suffered misappropriate conduct from Harvey on the set of the movie Frida.

It was during this time that the two of them started a business relationship, as Hayek needed help with the production of the movie.

The actress claims that she received inappropriate offers from Weinstein for things like showering together, massages or oral sex.

The constant refusals from the actress used to drive Weinstein into rage and resulted in a change of attitude towards her: “The range of his persuasion tactics went from sweet-talking me to that one time when, in an attack of fury, he said the terrifying words, ‘I will kill you, don’t think I can’t.’ ”

The actress said that eventually she was blackmailed by Weinstein about the future of her movie.

In the end, Hayek had to fight legally for the production to get back on track, on top of rewriting the whole script and even raising $10 million for financing.

However, apparently, that was not enough as the rage towards Hayek escalated to a point where he questioned her abilities as an actress and producer.

The Mexican-born talent also shared that all that terror caused her many nightmares and hard time.

At least the movie received six Academy Awards nominations, including a Best Actress one for Hayek, and in the end, it won two Oscars.
