Bambi Benson and her husband, Lil Scrappy, are expecting their first child together. The former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta stars had been trying to conceive for months.
Over the weekend, theJasmineBRAND reported that a source close to the couple reached out to the publication and confirmed the pregnancy, as we previously said. However, the hair expert is expected to take some time before sharing things on her official social media accounts.
Moreover, she had stopped making public appearances because her baby bump was starting to be visible. When Bambi posted new photos, her stomach was always hidden behind something.
This will be the second child for Scrappy, who already has a teenage daughter, Emani Richardson, with Erica Dixon. Emani and Bambi have grown really close recently, and the aspirant actress even calls her, “a bonus daughter.”
The Shade Room has also revealed that Bambi is 20 weeks pregnant and does not know the gender of the child. The California native went on to share the reason that pushed her to remain silent about the pregnancy for so long, she previously had a miscarriage and wanted to make sure everything was right this time around.
In some photos that were just released, an overjoyed Scrappy can be seen kissing Bambi’s belly. It is rumored that this whole adventure might be chronicled on a reality show.
One happy supporter celebrated the news by saying: “Loveeeeee this 🙌🏾 she has a choice to what she wishes to share and how she does it. People always try to bully celebs/personalities into telling their business!”
Another commenter stated: “The first trimester is scary. No one likes to announce pregnancy after miscarriages during the first trimester. We should respect that unless we are buying diapers & paying bills.”
A third supporter added: “Some people do not like to say anything until they are out of the first trimester as most miscarriages happen at that time so leave people be and let them tell when they ready … geez !!”
