For years, the marriage between music superstar Beyoncé and hip-hop mogul JAY-Z seemed flawless, until the rapper dropped the surprising news of infidelity in an interview with Dean Baquet last weekend.
It seems that the “Empire State Of Mind” singer was not faithful to the mother of his three children and the couple had been going through some rough times.
Both of them struggled to stay together for the sake of their five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
A source told PEOPLE Magazine: “It was very rough for them to stay married. It took Beyoncé a long time to trust again. She was struggling to move on and forgive. But keeping her family together was very important.”
The insider added: “If it’s wasn’t for Blue Ivy, they might not be together. It took them years to get to the point where they are now.”
Apparently, it was very hard for the Texas native to forgive her husband’s mistake.
She has been struggling trying to find forgiveness and move on with her life, according to reports from someone allegedly close to her.
The 36-year-old singer stayed focused on taking care of her children and her career and managed to overcome the inflicted pain.
The couple has been married for nine years now, and if it were not for their daughter, maybe they would have separated a long time ago.
It was shared that both Beyoncé and JAY-Z are very proud of the fact that they are still going strong despite their problems in the past and were able to move on with their life as a family.
Moreover, although the fight was long and hard, they stuck together as JAY-Z stated that he is disappointed with divorce statistics, and he seems to believe that people need to take a good look at themselves.
It does appear like they could stay together for good too, looking at their new twins.
