Prince Harry’s Fiancée Meghan Markle Faces Coverage With Racist Undertones In The Press

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Racism

The engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is still a very hot topic, not just in the UK but around the planet.

Moreover, while many are happy for the prince and his partner, it looks like the two have been the target of some rather unflattering comments in their own country.

Alternatively, instead, Miss Markle has received some comments with seemingly racist undertones, according to publications.

One would think that big media organizations would tone down their narrative after using phrases like “straight outta Compton” in headlines referring to Markle, but things are actually apparently getting worse.

Recent headlines have made references to Markle’s family going from cotton slaves to royalty, and while one could say that this could have been well-intended, meaning to support the progress Markle has marked for those who came before her, that is very unlikely knowing the overall narrative of certain publications and their comment sections.

The social networking channels have jumped on the bandwagon as well, and it does not look like the frenzy is going to die down anytime soon.

Markle, meanwhile, seems to be paying no attention to the controversy at all, and we have not seen any response from her regarding the situation.

It is entirely possible that there will be no such statement at all, as Markle seems to be the kind of person who is significantly above cheap attempts at provocation and low-key gossip.

For now, she has actually displayed a very remarkable image and has been maintaining it well with all her public appearances.

On the flip side, she is seen by many as a fashion icon and whatever she decides to wear sells out in hours.

It is a really hopeful sign for a globe that is often caught moving forward and going backward when it comes to equality and progress.
