A new comedy show from Apple, produced by Reese Witherspoon, is coming out with Kristen Wiig in the leading role, according to recent reports. We have also seen confirmations for the involvement of Colleen McGuinness and Lauren Neustadter, and it looks like many big names are being gathered for this project.
We do not know many specific details about the production itself yet though, so points like the plot and other similar aspects are open to speculation. Also, as can be expected, many people on the Internet have already started trying to guess what we might see in the new comedy series.
The show has only been confirmed for a 10-episode run so far though, so whether we are going to see additional content from it or not depends on its initial performance on the screen. We fully expect someone like Witherspoon to handle the production aspect with a high degree of professionalism, and it also sounds like there have been some sound casting decisions for the production too.
It looks like the show has every ingredient for success, and all that is left now is a strong premiere to set it apart from the other productions on the screen at the moment. Apple has a good deal of projects lined up other than this show too, so we are going to see a very busy 2018 from their side from what we have been able to tell so far. Let us just hope that they are not planning to prioritize quantity over quality for some strange reason.
