Oprah Winfrey Refuses To Get Into Feud With Donald Trump Over ’60 Minutes’ Voter Panel

Oprah Winfrey Donald Trump 60 Minutes Voters

After President Donald Trump stated that Oprah Winfrey looked quite insecure during her segment on CBS’ 60 Minutes about him leading the country, it did not take long for the TV host to react.

Oprah appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ talk show on Thursday where the two stars talked about Trump’s latest controversial tweet.

Winfrey described feeling confused the first time she saw the president’s comments about her and did not know what to think of them.

It all began after the media mogul gathered 14 people together for a special 60-Minutes story. Half of the guests were supporters of the New York billionaire, and the other half were people with different political views.

After watching the segment, Trump commented on Twitter that the questions were biased and the presented facts were incorrect.

Oprah also shared with Ellen that after reading Trump’s comments, she went over the episode again to ensure everything was correct.

The former Barack Obama supporter admitted that after the first time she saw the tape, she had to make some corrections to it. When she asked one of the questions, there was a missing part that had to be added later for better balance.

According to Oprah, she managed to deliver only truthful facts even though she had to correct and edit her product on multiple occasions to make sure that the tone was right.

The media mogul also stated she was working very hard to present only correct information, despite the president claiming the exact opposite.

After Oprah delivered an inspiring speech at the Golden Globes in January, the famous TV host has been seen as one of the possible candidates for the next presidential election, but she has said on multiple occasions that she is not interested in the position.

Although she has many fans, it is unlikely that she will ever jump into the political arena.
