Daniel Clark Disappointed By Drake — Canadian Rapper Did Not Invite ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’ Actor For Reunion In ‘I’m Upset’ Video

Drake I'm Upset Music Video Daniel Clark

Former actor Daniel Clark, who is mostly known for his portrayal of the character Sean Cameron on the series Degrassi: The Next Generation from 2001 to 2008, was shocked to learn he was left out from the Degrassi’s reunion music video for Drake’s new single “I’m Upset.”

Clark explained that nobody even contacted him to inform him about the filming of the video or when it was made. He first heard about the new hit when he watched it on TV.

The former actor, whose current occupation is running his own business in Toronto, stated that even though he has not met Drake in years, he still gathers together with other colleagues from Degrassi from time to time.

The disappointed Clark explained that he would have been glad to see everybody from the show again. According to him, the best part of this job was making fans happy by giving them what they want.

After watching the video, it seemed to Clark that all of the participants were having a lovely time, but he felt sad that he was not able to join them.

However, Mr. Clark was not the only one from the former cast that was missing from the show. A lot of fans of the Canadian TV series quickly pointed out that Ryan Cooley and Mike Lobel were not present in the video as well.

Cooley’s participation in the teen soap was well remembered for his portrayal of J.T Yorke for the first six seasons of Degrassi: The Next Generation, whereas Lobel starred as Jay Hogart for seven seasons.

Releasing this video now is an interesting move for the Canadian rapper when many people expected that he would come out with a response to Pusha T‘s epic diss song “The Story of Adidon.”

It is smart for Nicki Minaj‘s frequent collaborator to try to move on from this mess.
