‘Melrose Place’ Actress Heather Locklear Agrees To Long-Term Rehab

Actress Heather Locklear made shocking news when it was revealed recently that she will undergo specialized treatment for her issues regarding substance abuse and mental health.

The former star from the TV series Melrose Place has agreed she needed treatment after she was arrested on Sunday for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Apparently, the mother of actress Ava Elizabeth Sambora was so intoxicated she even crashed her luxurious car on the grounds of her estate and was aggressive towards the police officers that showed up.

A representative from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office revealed that police deputies were sent to the Locklear’s mansion after they received a call reportedly saying the actress was very drunk and was fighting people around her.

When the police officers arrived at the scene and tried to detain the restless celebrity, she kicked one of the policemen and also attacked the paramedic standing near.

As a result, the Dynasty actress was detained by authorities for her behavior but was let go later.

However, Locklear did not plan to calm down as several hours after her release she was admitted to the emergency room due to substance abuse.

During her stay at the medical facility, it was revealed the actress had an unstable mental health and needed long-term treatment for her issues.

Locklear’s incident comes just a week after the police was alerted by her parents that she was threatening to commit suicide and attacked her own mother.

The 56-year-old T. J. Hooker star had problems with the police in the past, as at one point she even threatened to shoot police officers with her gun.

Fans have been reaching out to Locklear on social media. One supporter stated, “You will get through this, you will make it through, you will because YOU have what it takes inside you, now go fight to get YOU back. You can do this!”

Her numerous followers are rooting for her.
