Mariah Carey’s Las Vegas Show Is Not Selling Well As She Announces New Dates For Her ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Tour

Mariah Carey is set to perform for three months at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, starting on July 5th. The shows are titled The Butterfly Returns and are going to be the first time the singer has been on stage since Christmas last year.

However, unfortunately, the famous diva might be facing some issues with her plans as it seems that fans are not buying enough tickets for her new residency.

According to rumors and reports from Page Six, there are still a lot of available spots for the opening night at the Palace.

This may be due to the fact that the venue chosen for Mariah’s shows is too big with its capacity of 4,300 seats.

After all, there must be a reason why the entertainer’s former manager, Stella Bulochnikov Stolper, who was fired in November last year along with some other employees, was determined to book a much smaller venue for the singer’s concerts in Las Vegas while she was still working with Carey.

According to different sources, the pop diva might also be facing some financial troubles as she recently sold her diamond engagement ring from her ex-fiancé, James Packer, for $2.1 million.

This news comes right after Carey released a statement revealing that she was suffering from bipolar disorder in April.

The “Hero” singer has had problems with her mental state before, including being admitted to a hospital back in 2001 due to a nervous breakdown.

People close to Carey confessed that they were worried for her health and were concerned that she might end up like Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson.

The star and her ex-husband, Tommy Mottola, have not issued any comments on the matter.

To counter the bad news, the legendary diva has announced that her All I Want For Christmas Is You tour is heading to Europe this December, and her fans could not be happier.
