It seems that another Hollywood marriage has collapsed — Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux — officially announced their decision to separate only two and a half years after their wedding.
Apparently, the decision for the divorce was taken by both of them near the end of last year and the two stars preferred to stay just friends for the future to come.
Aniston and Theroux stated that they were so open to the public about their separation in order to avoid false rumors and gossip in the media.
The two movie stars also claimed that they would have normally kept their situation private, but both of them are aware that this would be impossible when it comes to celebrities of their level.
The actors met in 2007 but did not start dating until 2012 when they were filming the movie, Wanderlust, and the engagement followed in August of the same year.
The engagement lasted unusually long, as the two of them tied the knot in a secret ceremony at their beautiful mansion in Los Angeles in 2015.
Now that the marriage is over, it is time for the inevitable division of assets — Jennifer’s net worth has been estimated to be $200 million, while Justin has around $20 million at his disposal.
However, it seems Jennifer was prepared for everything, as she has a very good prenuptial agreement that protects her multi-million fortune from her much “poorer” husband.
Now, with the star from the popular sitcom Friends being single, it did not take long for her fans to start wondering who the next man in her life will be.
A lot of people expressed their hopes on social media that their “Rachel” will get back together with her first husband, Brad Pitt, who is also single after his divorce from Angelina Jolie.
Sources close to the actor say that he will be there for her but not in a romantic way.
