Actor Jamie Foxx, 50, whose full name is Eric Marlon Bishop, preferred to escape from a live broadcast rather than talk about his personal life.

Foxx was set to participate in the special NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night when he was approached by Michael Smith from SportsCenter for an interview.

All was good until Smith asked the Django Unchained actor about his relationship with good friend Katie Holmes and how they spent their Valentine’s Day together.

The ESPN host and commentator also referenced new photos of the two actors playing basketball together on this year’s Day Of Love.

As a result, the Oscar winner decided it was better to immediately go to the basketball court, carry on his stretching before the game, and leave Smith’s question unanswered.

However, despite all this, it seemed Foxx was having a very good time and confided in a reporter from ESPN that he was definitely impatient for the game to start.

Foxx chatted for a while with Justin Bieber, who was also present at the event before exploding in an enthusiastic dance on the court.

As usual, Foxx is very secretive about his personal life and does not like to reveal much, especially when it comes to what is going on between him and Tom Cruise‘s ex-wife.

The two of them are rarely spotted together, and the first rumors about their relationship erupted in 2013 when they were seen dancing in the Hamptons. The event happened just one year after Holmes divorced Cruise.

Nowadays, Holmes and Foxx enjoy their love mostly in private, away from the public eye. It was recently revealed that an agreement from Holmes’ divorce barred her from dating anyone publicly for at least five years after the brutal separation.

Moreover, in recent months Foxx and Holmes have been a little bit more open about their situation.
