Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Share More Details About The ‘Wedding Of The Century’

Meghan Marle Prince Harry Wedding Details

New details have surfaced about the upcoming royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The ceremony will take place on May 19 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in front of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

The Dean of Windsor, the Rt Rev David Conner will be leading the service in the castle dating back from the 15th century. The wedding service is scheduled to take an hour, starting at 12 pm and ending at 1 pm.

After exchanging their vows, the newly-wed couple will give the public an opportunity to greet them as they will make a carriage trip through Windsor.

The tour will start going down to Castle Hill, and then cover High Street, Sheet Street, continuing through Kings Road and Albert Road, before finishing back at the Windsor Castle.

The wedding reception at St George’s Hall is scheduled right after the carriage procession.

Prince Charles is also hosting a more private gathering for the couple and their closest circle of family and friends later on in the evening. He did the same for Prince William and Duchess Kate on the day of their wedding back in 2011.

The informal party will be followed by a reception with a whiskey bar for around 500 guests, whereas the dinner is planned for 350 people.

The idea for the carriage trip most likely came from Prince Edward and the Sophie, Countess of Wessex’s wedding, which took place in the same location in 1999 and also included such short trip.

This ceremony is being called the wedding of the century and a significant portion of the globe will be focused on it.

At a time where the monarchy was looking for a way to stay relevant and connect with the modern world, the Suits actress seems uniquely qualified to be this bridge to the future.

Although a few people remain critical of Markle’s rapid rise, she is very popular in England.
