According to rumors, reality TV star and model Kendall Jenner, 22, has been dating basketball player Blake Griffin, 28, since September last year.
However, life is not always rainbows and butterflies, and if this turns out to be true, Kendall will have to share some tough times with her new partner. The reason is Blake’s recent transfer from the Los Angeles Clippers to the Detroit Pistons.
Apparently, the NBA star’s contract with the Clippers involved a $171 million deal and a duration of five years, but there was a lack of a no-trade clause in the agreement.
As a result, the L.A. team was allowed to move Blake in a manner that is most convenient for them. The trade is going to be a huge deal for the basketball player as he spent his entire professional career in California since signing up with the Clippers after his debut in 2009.
The Clippers will receive Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanovic, and two more players in Blake’s place. Injuries tormented the Oklahoma City, OK native’s career since 2009 when he broke his knee and the incident made him miss most of his debut matches.
This would be a hard test for both of them without a doubt, but Kendall is not the only member of the reality family involved in a long-distance relationship.
Khloé Kardashian’s relationship with Tristan Thompson, who lives in Cleveland, is an example that out-of-state dating is also possible for women from the Kardashian/Jenner clan. The pregnant TV personality moved to Cleveland just recently to shorten the distance with her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Kendall has been pretty busy herself. The young star who started her career on Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been very occupied with her modeling career and has become one of the highest-paid models in the world in the past years.
