Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s third child made her first official appearance to the world.
The baby, named Chicago West, was featured in a video made by Kylie Jenner to welcome her own newborn baby girl.
In the video, which Jenner gave the adorable title To Our Daughter, we can see Kim sitting next to Kylie, while her younger sister is holding Chicago in her hands.
The baby was born on January 15th, and her happy mother brought the news to the world with a greeting post on social media.
Chicago was not carried by Kim herself, but with the help of a surrogate because of health issues, the reality TV star faced during her two previous pregnancies.
Siblings North and Saint greeted the newest member of the Kardashian West family. Kim even organized a welcoming baby shower to prepare her other children for the arrival of Chicago.
For some time, the name of the baby was subject of speculation among the fans of the reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and it remained a mystery in the beginning.
In the video, Kylie’s good friend, Jordyn Woods, also questioned what the name of Kim’s second daughter would be. The reply was that they are definitely going to stick with Chicago, a choice which was also approved by Kylie.
Perhaps the family leader — Kris Jenner — was first to know the name of Kim’s youngest one. The proud grandmother purchased nine mini pajamas from Burt’s Bees Baby for her grandchildren in November.
The clothes were customized with the names of the kids, and three additional ones were reportedly meant for the babies that were yet to come.
The video featuring Chicago was viewed over 30 million times in 24 hours. Media experts have applauded the way this family has been able to stay relevant.
