Melania Trump‘s present for Michelle Obama on her husband’s Inauguration Day is no longer a secret at last.

The former first lady, Michelle Obama, appeared in her first television interview since leaving the White House in 2017 on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and revealed what the mysterious gift from the former model was.

The interview aired on Thursday, but some parts of it were shown in advance and quickly went viral. It turned out the gift was a beautiful frame from Tiffany & Co., as Michelle shared.

Donald Trump’s behavior on the day of his swearing-in ceremony shocked the world when he acted very impolitely and did not wait for his own wife while on his way to the White House.

Melania then had to cover the distance alone with the present in her hands without being accompanied by the New York billionaire.

In her interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Obama opened up about how she felt upon receiving the box from Tiffany & Co. back then.

She explained that her first thoughts were what to do with the thing, and wondering if she had to be pictured with it.

However, the former President Barack Obama saved the situation by taking the box inside, since there was no staff present to take care of it.

For now, the Obama family still resides in Washington, and they plan to do so at least until their daughter, Sasha Obama, finishes with her high school education at Sidwell Friends School.

An intriguing coincidence is the fact that the 44th U.S. president and his family live very close to first daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner.

Mrs. Obama was also asked during the chit-chat about people in the Democratic Party feeling down at the moment because of the agenda being pushed by the current administration.

She encouraged Trump critics to remain hopeful because that is all they have at the moment.
