Amid ‘Sloppy Steve’ Furor, Michael Wolff’s Book Claims Hope Hicks Had An Affair With Married Corey Lewandowski

According to a new book, the White House Communications Director, Hope Hicks, had a turbulent affair with Donald Trump’s first campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.

The book, Fire, and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, written by journalist Michael Wolff, reveals juicy details about the supposed relationship between Hicks and married Lewandowski.

Apparently, Hicks was very concerned about Lewandowski’s reputation after he was dismissed from the campaign. Hicks’ interest in his situation reportedly provoked Trump to criticize her and saying that she had already done enough for him and also mentioning her physical appearance in a vulgar manner.

As the book continues, the president’s inappropriate comment allegedly sent Hicks running for the door and out of the room.

Wolff wrote, “Trump, who otherwise seemed to treat Hicks in a protective and even paternal way, looked up and said, ‘Why? You have already done enough for him. You are the best piece of tail he will ever have.’”

The drama about the romantic relationship between Trump’s employees is not the only revelation in the scandalous book.

One of the primary sources for the title, the former White House Chief Strategist, Steve Bannon, heavily criticizes Donald Trump Jr. for his meeting with the Russians at the Trump Tower.

According to Bannon, the goal of this meeting was to gather information against Hillary Clinton’s reputation. He further said that the act was treasonous and unpatriotic.

The reaction from the president was released through a personal statement from his press secretary, in which he expressed his utter disagreement with Bannon.

Trump also said that Bannon had nothing in common with him or his presidency, so his opinion on the matter should be irrelevant.

Furthermore, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is dealing with reporters by pointing the inaccuracies in the book to them. The stories were compared with tabloid fiction and failed attempts at relevancy.

The reaction from the White House administration has helped turn the book into a real bestseller, and the release date has been moved forward.

In the latest development, the 45th U.S. president labeled Bannon, “Sloppy Steve.”
