Don Lemon Blasts Conservative Political Commentator Ben Ferguson For Bringing Up Benghazi In Segment About Donald Trump

Don Lemon, of CNN Tonight fame, recently hosted a discussion about U.S. President Donald Trump, and things did not go very smoothly for him, as he kept getting more and more frustrated with one of his guests, conservative political commentator Ben Ferguson.

What was the reason for all of this tension? Ferguson continually tried to detract the discussion and shift it towards the name of former President Barack Obama.

While Lemon made some attempts to steer the conversation back in the right direction in a calm manner, it did not take too long before he lost his temper entirely and went off on his guest for his behavior.

Ferguson’s remark devolved into a full-blown rant about the Obama administration and the various acts taken by the former president during his two terms.

He was particularly displeased with what he saw as preferential treatment for staffers who were not doing their job correctly, and he claimed that those same people would have gotten in real trouble if their political orientation had been different.

Lemon did calm down eventually, but he reminded Ferguson to stick to the given topic and make his point without constantly steering things away.

The conversation did go on without too many incidents after that, but it was clear that Lemon was in a bad mood.

Ferguson did not stay completely quiet on the issue though, as he claimed that Lemon was merely trying to sweep things under the rug and silence him on a matter that he believed was important.

Lemon responded that this was not the case, but he did insist on maintaining the intended course of the discussion.

Trump’s supporters used the segment to blast Lemon for being the face of a network that is busy pushing fake news when it comes to this administration.

Liberals cheered the anchor on for calling out the posturing.
