Eva Longoria is expecting a baby boy with her husband, Jose Antonio “Pepe” Baston. The actress is in the fourth month of her first pregnancy.
Baston makes a living as being the president of the largest media company in Latin America.
The couple began their relationship in 2013, and they were engaged two years later in Dubai. The wedding took place in May 2016 in Mexico.
When asked in 2015 about the possibility of having children, the former Desperate Housewives star said that having a child was not an absolute necessity for her although having one would be “icing on the cake.”
She also added that she saw her life as complete. Longoria was 40 when she made that statement and did not have much time left for kids.
While this is going to be the first child for the 42-year-old actress, it is the fourth for Baston, 49, as he already has other children from a previous marriage.
In the past, there had been rumors about the TV star possibly being pregnant, mainly because of her appearance.
For example, in April, she had to deny rumors about her becoming a mother after she was photographed in Hawaii showing a few extra pounds on her otherwise petite figure.
Longoria had to make a quick response in Snapchat to deny the chatter.
There, she explained how she saw the photos of herself, being out of her usual perfect shape. Apparently, the actress’ love for cheese was the reason behind her larger belly back then.
She also had to tell the truth to the happy members of her family who were asking her about her pregnancy.
Longoria had stated: “I saw some pictures of myself really fat on a boat. I have to tell you all I did was eat cheese. Everybody’s is saying I am pregnant and I am not.”
The Telenovela actress was previously married to NBA star Tony Parker.
