Her ex-husband is stalking one of rapper Eminem‘s favorite collaborators, Skylar Grey. The artist even brought the matter to the courts and was granted a restraining order against Todd Mandel.
According to the talented songwriter, Mandel has been recording her in her own home with the help of hidden cameras.
Her current love interest, Elliot Taylor, has not been spared the unwanted attention either, as Mandel has hired a private investigator to track him.
Legal documents mention that Mandel has been in possession of the “Bed of Lies” singer’s private messages and pictures.
The recording devices were revealed after Mandel confessed to Grey that he had been monitoring her and her boyfriend at a party, which they both attended.
The singer also claimed that her ex-husband had threatened her with physical harm.
For the time being, Mandel is forbidden to come closer than 100 yards to the singer, her boyfriend, and her assistant.
The date for the court hearing is set to be on January 8. Grey is mostly famous for her singing and songwriting career.
She has worked numerous times with Eminem in the past and has also taken part in the creation of hits like “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna or Dr. Dre’s “I Need a Doctor.”
Her chemistry with the hip-hop music legend is undeniable, and some of their fans even thought for years that they were dating. The theory was apparently wrong.
One of Eminem’s most recent songs “Walk on Water” with Beyoncé was also written with Grey’s help.
She even performed recently with the famous rapper on Saturday Night Live, filling in for JAY-Z‘s wife.
As for the future, the singer plans on doing a solo album, which we will hopefully see next year. Grey hinted at possible future work with rapper Kendrick Lamar.
