Tamar Braxton Calls Bar Racist For Saying She Looked Like A ‘Gangster’ And Not Letting Her In

Tamar Braxton Racism Charge Bar Dallas

Tamar Braxton, a famous R&B singer and reality TV star, was denied access to a Dallas, Texas restaurant because of her looks a few days ago.

Apparently, the sister of the legendary “Un-Break My Heart” singer Toni Braxton was not dressed up to the standards of the bar she wanted to visit.

Music producer Vincent Herbert‘s estranged wife is currently on the road, taking part of in The Great Xscape Tour with the group Xscape, Monica Brown, and Zonnique Pullins.

She was visiting the town for a performance at the Verizon Theatre as part of the tour.

Tamar was not let through the door of JR’s Bar & Grill because she was dressed like a “gangster.” The “Love and War” singer shared the story on her Instagram page. According to her, the establishment has no tolerance for black people.

It did not take long for a response from the bar to come back, as their representative, Waylon Tate, provided an answer to NBC 5.

The establishment is not racist in any way, although it was not specified precisely why the celebrity was denied entry.

According to the official policies of the place, no backpacks, sweat towels or sunglasses are allowed.

Tate expressed his regret that Tamar was not able to add her name to the list of celebrities who enjoyed the experience the bar has to offer.

The diva, who has been recovering from a recent nasty divorce from her husband and manager, is trying to move on with her life.

The ugly split was made open to the public, including a long and personal message that Tamar posted on her Instagram page on November 8.

One of her primary goals now is taking care of her 4-year-old son, Logan, and not sharing the custody rights for him.

Tamar said she is free and happy on her own.
