‘Megyn Kelly TODAY’ Sees Ratings Surge After Interviews With Donald Trump Accusers

Megyn Kelly TODAY Ratings Donald Trump

While many people have been praising Megyn Kelly for giving abused women in the entertainment industry a platform to speak about their experiences, it looks like the host already has at least one substantial reason to feel good about her involvement in the situation.

Recent reports indicate that the ratings for Megyn Kelly TODAY have jumped up significantly after her recent interviews, with the new numbers being noticeably higher than her previous records.

According to reports, Kelly’s ratings went from abysmal to a week average high of 2.6 million viewers (771,000 in the demo) earlier this month. She also hit a daily high last Monday with 2.91 million people watching the interview with the women who have accused U.S. President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct.

Kelly has given several alleged female abuse victims an opportunity to speak out against Trump, who has recently started to gain a lot of negative attention over various accusations of sexual misconduct.

While the president himself does not seem fazed by the allegations, the stories keep piling up. Many are wondering if there will be a tipping point that costs Trump his post, although others are convinced that he is too close to his base right now for anything of that sort to happen to him.

It is true that Trump is probably the only president in U.S. history who has been able to get away with certain comments and his overall behavior, but there has to be a limit to everything, even for someone in a position as powerful as his.

Sexual misconduct allegations are a huge topic right now, and while normally they could have been easily dismissed, it is probably going to be harder for Trump’s office in the current social climate. Especially if even more stories start to come out in the next weeks/months, which at this point is not unlikely.
