Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Running For President

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has just been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Although this may seem like a huge recognition for many, it is not a big enough of an achievement for The Rock, as he is apparently considering running for President of the United States in 2024.

Currently, Mr. Johnson is preparing for the release of his upcoming hit, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and is also devoted to various projects up until the next presidential election.

Despite his busy schedule, the Hollywood titan is still considering running for office at some point in the coming years: “I couldn’t do both“ he said, “realistically, as we go into 2018, when you look at my slate as we’re developing and shooting into 2019 and 2020, the slate goes deep into 2021, so it feels like the realistic consideration would be 2024.”

Rock realizes that he would have to give up his flourishing career as a producer, actor, and businessman in his company Seven Bucks Production, which he runs in cooperation with his ex-wife, Dany Garcia.

Besides working on his career, The Rock also has a growing family to care for.

In addition to his two daughters Simone (16) and Jasmine (2), he recently shared that his partner, Lauren Hashian, is expecting another baby girl.

Johnson currently considers himself an Independent but has already attended a few Republican and Democratic conventions.

He says that the initial inspiration for the presidency started because of his loyalty to his fans and his country and also his dissatisfaction with the current administration.

The movie star continued with saying that according to him, the most important trait in a leader should be caring for his/her country and people.

Among other qualities that he classifies as necessary are: being a decent human being and a good leader, and having a strong character.
