Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have a lot of history related to The Voice, and it should come as no surprise to any of their fans that they chose the show as an opportunity to get on the scene for a wonderful performance of “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.”
It was clear that the two were in a great mood before the performance and throughout it. The appearance generated lots of positive responses around the Internet.
It did not end there, as the two continued to entertain the show’s guests for some time after that performance, and managed to captivate the audience completely.
However, it was clear that “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” was their centerpiece for the night and something they had apparently worked hard on.
That is actually confirmed by the backstory of the song, one that has been repeated a few times already in interviews, but it does not seem like fans are going to get tired of hearing it anytime soon.
PEOPLE Magazine‘s “Sexiest Man Alive” shared some interesting details, Shelton stated: “She was so excited. I love seeing her that happy. She is so happy when she is writing and just hearing that in her voice and how into it she was, I just couldn’t stop thinking about [it], so I got my guitar out and thought, ‘I wonder if I could help her in some way?”
Stefani and Shelton have put much effort into coming up with every piece of this performance, and it is great to see it paying off so well at the moment.
Ever since falling in love a couple of years ago — on the set of The Voice nonetheless — we have seen some great things from Stefani and Shelton, and hopefully, this is not going to fade away in the near future, as they are one of the more entertaining couples in the music world right now.
