Nikki Haley Says Donald Trump’s Female Accusers Should Be Heard — #MeToo Campaign Reaches POTUS

Nikki Haley Donald Trump Women Accusers

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley shared an opinion on Sunday that every woman, who suffered sexual harassment of any kind, should be paid attention to, even if the accused is President Donald Trump.

During Haley’s appearance on CBS Face the Nation, she was asked by journalist John Dickerson about her thoughts on the spreading issue of physical misbehavior toward women and also the recent Congress’ sexual harassment scandals.

Haley’s answer mentioned how proud she was of the women who came forward. “I’m proud of their strength,” she added. “I’m proud of their courage. And I think that the idea that this is happening, I think it will start to bring a conscience to the situation, not just in politics, but you know, we have seen in Hollywood and every industry. And I think the time has come.”

And although the president denies any indecent act, the number of accusations against him is growing.

Everyone remembers the recording of Trump from 2005, where he brags about groping women, but that is not nearly the end of it as several women made allegations against him regarding sexual harassment.

Mr. Trump is not the only one currently suffering accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct — this is also the case with Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Apparently, Moore is said to have molested an underage girl, on top of trying to establish physical relationships with other teenagers when he was in his 30s.

Despite Moore’s questionable integrity, the president still chose to support the Republican candidate ahead of Tuesday’s election.

Haley’s remarks are the latest clue that the president may not escape the renewed attention towards his inappropriate attitude to women.

Especially when a lot of powerful and influential men have faced the ends of their careers because of such deeds even if the events happened way back in the past.

As a result, the cracks in the Republican Party seem to get worse: The majority of the party stays behind Trump, whereas others have had to step down because of accusations.
