Beyoncé once again showed an impeccable fashion taste as she shone like a diamond in her mini dress in Instagram photos she has shared recently.
The mini dress in question is from the LaQuan Smith Spring Summer 2018 collection.
Although with a very short line, the little number was still quite elegant, as the long sleeves perfectly balanced the cut.
The color pattern — vertical black and silver stripes — is the ideal match for the winter season.
The silver high-heeled sandals were from Giuseppe Zanotti’s Harmony and were a perfect addition to the dress, combined with the eccentric diamond earrings from Lorraine Schwartz.
The sparkling outfit was completed with multiple diamond rings, and the hair was kept in a half-up, half-down style, adding volume to her look as well as keeping it elegant in a natural way.
The occasion for this glamorous look from rapper JAY-Z‘s wife was her presence at the Sports Illustrated Award Show, where she presented former NFL football player Colin Kaepernick with the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award on Tuesday.
Beyoncé’s part for the night’s lineup was planned to be a secret, and even Mr. Kaepernick was quite surprised by her appearance.
The controversial football player has also been recently in the news with his request to only wear clothes from black designers for his GQ photo shoot in November.
So it cannot be a coincidence that the famous singer chose her dress from a black designer as well while giving such a prestigious award to Kaepernick, which was a nice touch from her side.
Neal Farinah, the hairstylist of the legendary Destiny’s Child diva, said she was sporting her “natural hair” for the big event.
This is considered a very empowering move for some women in the black community.
What Farinah said sparked a big debate on social media, and a few critics are not convinced that he is telling the truth.
