Pink Is Raising Daughter Willow To Be Gender Neutral

Pink Gender Neutral Daughter Willow

A recent movement that aims to “let children define their own genders” has been moving in and gaining presence in various circles, including the entertainment world.

According to a recent interview with pop music superstar Pink, the singer is also interested in the idea and has been utilizing it in her own household.

Pink was apparently positively inspired when she saw a kindergarten with a gender-neutral bathroom.

According to the “Just Give Me a Reason” artist, that is a good sign of progress, and it gave her hope that she is going in the right direction with the upbringing of her own children.

And now, Pink’s daughter, Willow, is being raised in a very gender-neutral way, according to the singer — while she also explained how she sees herself as a person who grew up without a strongly defined gender identity during her childhood.

Pink claims that she was much more of a boy while growing up, and she in fact still sees herself as one to a large extent.

As can be expected, the interview has generated some controversial discussions, as the topic of gender neutrality in raising children has been a hot and sensitive one for quite some time.

Pink does not seem to be shaken by the drama at all, and she at least looks like she knows exactly where she stands.

And to her credit, she is always shown to be the kind of person who does not exactly care what others think of her and does not define her behavior by the expectations of those around her.

Perhaps this is exactly what she is trying to teach her kids as well.

She also shared this interesting exchange she had with her daughter; Pink explained: “She said to me the other day, ‘How many boys can I have at once?’ And I said, ‘Excuse me?’ I said, ‘Probably none of them because they won’t deserve you.”

Pink is definitely a true individual.
