Recent rumors about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have painted the former couple in an odd light, as it seems like things between them are not exactly over — at least as far as Jolie is concerned.
The reports indicate that Jolie has been torn up over the end of her relationship, and she is been wishing for a way to get back with Pitt ever since the two broke up and went their own ways in 2016.
However, the sentiments are apparently not reciprocal, as the movie producer has been quite cold towards Jolie in the past few months, and he seemingly wants nothing to do with the idea of getting back together with her.
In fact, it was recently claimed that Mr. Pitt said that he still has some deep regrets of his own, but not about the mother of his six children — instead, he misses his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, and wishes he had not broken up with her.
It is an interesting, but sad, love triangle that does not look like it can be resolved in any reasonable way.
Obviously, the best thing would be for all parties to move on and seek new experiences in life, but the tension between Jolie and Pitt is likely going to keep resurfacing if the rumors are true.
It would not be in her style to get more aggressive and pushy towards her former lover, especially if his responses really are so cold, but so far we have no official statement from either side, so it is hard to tell exactly what they could be feeling towards each other.
However, it is clear that the breakup has been pretty messy and has had a lot of negative effects on the kids.
The Hollywood icons will have to do more for things to get better between them.
